Journey of Discovery

A high proportion of first fill sherry-seasoned oak casks contribute significantly to The 18's distinct, vibrant character.  Two types of oak are used to instil different dimensions to the whisky - American oak offers a lighter, sweeter flavour whilst European oak adds a richness and spice.  However, it is the time spent in these casks which makes the biggest difference to our spirit. 

After 18 years of absorbing and evolving, our crisp and fruity spirit is enriched.  The unexpected begins to emerge: what had been simple, becomes more subtle.  Deeper dimensions unfurl and linger.  A richly rounded flavour blooms.
